“Problem Solver” refers to my belief a designer’s job is solving the client’s problem. Design is more than making things look nice. A designer looks for the deeper solution, what is the idea, message or feeling the client is trying to communicate.
Personal ID System
This was my personal identification system. It was a play on my printing experience and the visuals I would see working in the bindery.
Logo and Flyer Design
Pieces designed for a local cover band.
I went through a a few initial designs on the logo. The final logo with the poker suites was inspired by Ocean’s Eleven and major Las Vegas casino chips with the hotel logo in the center.
The flyers were an experiment in expanding design styles. For the first flyer I was going for a blackboard with chalk aesthetic. The second, I wanted a letterpress look to set us apart from the standard photo with text most bands used at the venue.
